Finding all of the resources that you need for planning a successful high school graduation party can be challenging. Discovering the perfect dress, tuxedo, limo service, etc. to ensure a fabulous prom night can be equally daunting. The Metro Detroit Graduation and Prom Marketplace combines great tastings from a wide selection of local caterers, a boutique selection of both graduation party planning and prom needs, DJ entertainment, interactive activities and more. A time-saving one stop experience open to all high school families from throughout metro Detroit.
Let’s face it…engaged couples are bored with the monotony of traditional wedding shows. Countless duplications of the same vendor type, rows upon rows of exhibitors, attendees pushing and shoving to collect handouts and giveaways and no time to speak with those businesses that do interest them – it is time for a better option. The original Rock the Veil Wedding Showcase, now celebrating its 3rd show, defies convention with a boutique selection of some of metro Detroit’s best wedding vendors, live musical performances from some of the area’s best wedding bands, dinner and snack options from onsite food trucks and much more. It is truly a celebration of planning life’s greatest celebration.
The Rock the Veil Wedding Showcase is debuting in Cleveland, Ohio! Keeping all of the concept’s trademark facets – a boutique selection of extraordinary vendors, live music, food trucks and a relaxed celebratory atmosphere, Rock the Veil is certain to be a hit with engaged couples in northeast Ohio. We are thrilled to be hosting our inaugural event in one of the city’s hottest spots for innovative wedding receptions and other events – 78th Street Studios.
A spin-off of our wildly successful Motor City Pizza Fest, the Eastside Showdown now in its second year brings together some of Macomb County’s best pizzerias for a one evening celebration of saucy, cheesy goodness. A juried “Best of Macomb County” competition will determine bragging rights in a number of different pizza categories. Live music, a shopping bazaar, children’s activities and more will ensure this event is memorable for our hundreds of attendees. This year’s Motor City Pizza Fest Eastside Showdown enjoys a phenomenal new location at the Packard Proving Grounds Historic Site in Shelby Township.
We can never say thank you enough to our active military and vets for their contribution to keeping America great. Cars & Stripes is a fantastic one day reflection of our gratitude for service to our country. A classic car show, great food, live music, lots of family activities and a shopping bazaar will guarantee our attending local current and former service men and women and their families a fun and memorable day together.
From diehard bikers to weekend riders. One Day of Revvin’ is a great opportunity for everyone who loves motorcycles to gather to show off their bikes, check out the hottest rides from local dealers, eat fantastic food, listen to great live music, enjoy lots of activities, shop our vendor bazaar and more. Bring out the entire family for a Fathers Day that dad is sure to love.
A first of its kind combining foods from China, Japan, Thailand, Korea, the Philippines, Vietnam and more, the Greater Detroit AsiaFest is a true celebration of very diverse cuisine. Our wonderful food concessions will be complimented by DJ entertainment, children’s activities, a shopping bazaar and more. If you love Asian food, this is an event you cannot afford to miss.
Now celebrating its 4th year, the original Motor City Pizza Fest is an epic celebration of metro Detroiter’s favorite food. From deep dish to thin crust to even gluten free, pizza fans can enjoy a selection of slices that cannot be matched anywhere in southeast Michigan. 12 different metro Detroit pizzerias will be featured and will compete for “Motor City’s Best” honors in a wide selection of pizza categories. Beer and wine, live music, an extensive shopping bazaar, new car displays from local dealerships, children’s activities and more will round out this pizza-rrific experience.
2016 Calendar of Events
Our Commitment to Our Vendors
New features abound in 2016 to improve your show experience and our relationship with you.

Last year was a bit of “roller coaster” year for The Quintessential Event Company. We had a number of tremendously successful shows and we had some new introductions that fell short in meeting our expectations. In 2016 and moving forward, we are focusing almost entirely on shows that have demonstrated significant success for us in the last few years or shows that are new but structured based on prior successes. We are backing away from untested or more risky event concepts. Our ultimate goal is to provide the best possible experiences for both our attendees and our vendors.

Vendors can look forward to the following enhancements:

We want you to be heard.  Once per quarter in 2016, we will be setting up a Vendors Voice meeting on a weekday evening somewhere in metro Detroit, for vendors who have participated in our events in the prior three to four months. This is a chance for vendors to share their feedback with us and offer recommendations to further elevate our offerings. It also offers a unique environment for collectively brainstorming new ideas.

We want to increase your visibility at our shows. Leading up to each show moving forward, vendors will be provided with the chance to contribute a “show special” that will be featured on a flyer distributed to all event attendees as they arrive at the show. It is our belief that this will encourage attendees to seek out vendors based on these fantastic offers.

We want to increase foot traffic to your booth. We will be exploring and implementing creative components like scavenger hunts at each show to spur attendees to visit each vendor. We want to keep the focus on you throughout the event.

We want to help you secure other shows. Early in 2016, we will be building a Michigan-based vendor directory website where will include profiles for all vendors who participate in or have previously been a part of our shows. This site will be made available to other local event promoters to easily navigate and find the vendors they need for their shows. You will be able to specify certain contingencies like show location and the newness of show to funnel the shows you are offered, This will represent a great milestone locally for improving the availability of potential vendor information.

As you can see, we are committed to our vendor’s success…more so than ever.

If you have additional thoughts as to how we can better the vendor experience, please contact us at (248) 809-9644 or via e-mail at bill@quevco.com.
