Corktown, Detroit's oldest neighborhood, has been abuzz with new activity over the last few years. Just recently, we have witnessed Ford Motor Company's acquisition of the Michigan Central Station and their exciting plans to revitalize this iconic building. Earlier this year, on March 24, the Corner Ballpark Presented by Adient, a stunning youth ballpark, event space and headquarters for the Detroit Police Athletic League, opened at the former site of Tiger Stadium. The Quintessential Event Company could not be more thrilled to be bringing two exciting events to Corktown and more specifically the new Corner Ballpark Presented by Adient, highlighting the growth and prosperity of this area to people from throughout metro Detroit.

The Corner Ballpark Presented by Adient
Formerly held as a one evening event in Royal Oak, this flavorful event has expanded to be a Friday/Saturday event at one of the hottest new venues in the city. The 6th Annual Motor City Pizza Fest will feature food concessions from a bounty of local franchise and independent pizza establishments, a beer tent, non-stop musical entertainment from some of the area's hottest bands, a sports memorabilia showcase, an arts and crafts bazaar, a variety of children's activities and much more. Thousands are expected to attend.

The Corner Ballpark Presented by Adient
Spurred by a sell out crowd at our Metro Detroit PierogiFest in May at the Royal Oak Farmers Market and a public outcry for a similar weekend event with greater crowd capacity, we are launching Polkatoberfest at the Corner, to be hosted at the Corner Ballpark Presented by Adient, on Saturday, October 13. This one day celebration of Polish food and culture will include food concessions from 12 local restaurants, caterers and food trucks, a beer tent, musical entertainment from the acclaimed Kielbasa Kings Polka Band as well a few top local cover bands, performances from local Polish dance troupes, shopping vendors, kid's activities and more. 5,000 or more are expected to attend this event's debut.
